All Middle School teachers are available to provide support to their students outside of class time. To streamline the process for students to determine whom they can meet with when, the Middle School teachers have developed the MS Extra-Help Schedule 2023-2024. This document outlines the days and times that each teacher has set aside to be exclusively available to offer support to students. Students are also welcome to contact teachers to arrange a time to meet outside of the established extra-help times if necessary.
Extra help is meant to serve as a time for students and teachers to meet in small groups or, when possible, individually. Extra help is intended to support students’ learning needs as they shift throughout the school year. Students are encouraged to attend extra help with their teachers before seeking support outside of school.

Extra help is most productive when students come prepared with specific questions or goals, so they are encouraged to reflect on this prior to each extra help session.
Teachers, advisors, learning specialists, or other Middle School team members may direct students to attend one or more extra-help sessions. In such instances, it is essential that students do so to best support their academic success. Students on Academic Support Plans or Academic Probation Plans are expected to regularly attend extra-help sessions as prescribed by the Middle School administrative team.
